SPRING HILL, Fla. — The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that killed one person and left two others injured overnight.
According to deputies, the shooting stemmed from an argument at a home on Bathurst Avenue in the Shady Hills area just before midnight Thursday.
Officials said the argument between two men that knew each other escalated and one man shot the other.
Another man and a juvenile male also were shot during the incident, which resulted in the death of the adult man.
The juvenile male and the first man that was shot were taken to an area hospital for their injuries.
The suspect is in custody.
Sheriff’s officials said this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
Authorities have not released any further information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
