TAMPA BAY, Fla. — Easter events are popping up around the Bay area in honor of the holiday on April 9. From Easter Bunny photo-ops to Easter egg hunts, here’s a list of activities kids and parents alike can enjoy.
Hillsborough County
Donuts With the Easter Bunny – Skateworld of Tampa
Saturday, April 8
10 a.m. — 12 p.m.
In addition to donuts with the Easter Bunny, guests can enjoy an egg hunt and skate lessons. Admission is $16, $10 for non-skaters.
Easter at The Florida Aquarium
April 7 — 9
9:30 a.m. — 5 p.m.
Guests can enjoy an aquarium-themed Easter scavenger hunt, win prizes and take photos with the Easter Bunny. A sensory-friendly Easter Bunny photo session will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 8 a.m. — 9:30 a.m. The event is free with general admission to the aquarium.
Ashley’s Eggsploration
Saturday, April 8
9 a.m. — 1 p.m.
Downtown Tampa’s egg hunt will have the Easter Bunny, food trucks, face painting and balloon artists. A select number of hidden golden eggs will lead to grand prizes. Participants that find a golden egg must complete a whole egg hunt card to redeem it for a grand prize. The event is free to attend.
Hop on the Lawn at Armature Works
Sunday, April 9
11 a.m. — 3 p.m.
In addition to an egg hunt, families can stop by to see the Easter Bunny for pictures. Attendees can also view live animals, enjoy crafts, bounce houses and food trucks. Entry is $10.
Pasco County
Easter at Raprager Family Farms
April 7 — 9
9 a.m. — 7 p.m.
More than 50,000 Easter Eggs will be scattered across Raprager Family Farms for a hunt. There will also be hay rides and photo-ops. Tickets are $15 per person, with kids 2 and under free.
Easter Egg Hunt at Harley Davidson in New Port Richey
Saturday, April 8
10 a.m. — 2 p.m.
HOG — New Port Richey Chapter #1027 and Harley-Davidson of New Port Richey will be having a community Easter celebration with an Easter Egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny and a bake sale. Attendees will have to bring their own basket. Admission is free.
Pinellas County
Winter’s Beachfront Egg Hunt – Winter’s Beach Club at Clearwater Beach
Friday, April 7
9 a.m. — 11 a.m.
There will be an Easter Egg hunt in the sand, photos with the Easter Bunny and bagged breakfast. Entry is $10 for visitors and free for Beach Club guests.
St. Pete Pier Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt
April 8 — 9
11 a.m. — 7 p.m.
Get ready for two days filled with family-friendly activities, including bounce houses, interactive games, arts and crafts. On Sunday, there will be an Easter egg hunt featuring more than 20,000 colorful eggs scattered throughout the festival grounds. The event is free to attend.
Easter at DK Farms and Nursery in Largo

10 a.m. — 4 p.m.
DK Farms and Nursery is hosting several Easter egg hunts each day for three different age groups. There will also be other farm activities like a free petting zoo, bunny zone, photo opps and meet-and-greets with the Easter Bunny. Guests can also participate in pony rides for an extra fee. In order to participate in the hunt, guests must purchase a pre-sale ticket online.
Easter Family Day — The Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida

Families can participate in a search for Easter Eggs, chocolates and even a few Golden Eggs which will have mystery prizes inside. If you come dressed in the spirit of Easter, you might receive extra chocolate treats to share with your family and friends. There is no cost to attend.
