TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A three-page memo from a senior Trump campaign advisor obtained by 8 On Your Side outlines how she believes President Trump’s victory in Florida by 3.4 percentage points should serve as a model for future campaigns in battleground states.

“Preliminary results from Tuesday suggests Donald Trump won Florida with the most diverse electorate to support a Republican President in our state’s history,” writes Susie Wiles, a senior advisor to the Trump campaign based in Jacksonville.

DALLAS (TEXAS) — The U.S. recorded another record-shattering number of COVID-19 cases Thursday capping off one of the country’s worst weeks battling the virus.

According to the New York Times, the daily count of cases exceeded 121,000 as 20 states reported new all-time daily highs.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida reported an additional 5,245 coronavirus cases on Friday, bringing the statewide case count to 832,625.

The state’s resident death toll finally reached 17,000. Currently, there have been 17,014 Florida residents who’ve died after contracting the virus and 210 non-Florida resident deaths.
