Florida councilman allegedly caught sleeping during city’s mask debate
CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WBBH) – A Cape Coral councilman was allegedly caught sleeping during the city’s meeting to discuss a mask mandate on Monday.
Councilman Rick Williams was captured on video with his mask over his face, leaned back in his chair, appearing to be sleeping during public comment.

Several Republican senators say they won’t attend GOP convention in Florida
TAMPA (NBC/WFLA) – Republican senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski will not be attending the Republican National Convention next month in Jacksonville.
A spokesperson for Collins said the senator from Maine never made plans to attend the convention because she has never attended in years when she’s up for election.

State seeks citizens’ help in policing bars
